NAGPUR, Apr 25: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat today said the work of RSS ‘swayamsevaks’ or volunteers is to shape a person into a better human being.
He was speaking at a program organised by the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) here on the occasion of birth anniversary of Yashwantrao Kelkar, a former RSS and ABVP leader.
ABVP and all the organisations affiliated to the RSS work on the basis of an ideology inspired by patriotism, said Bhagwat.
“We all work on the basis of an ideology….It is the rise of India. Patriotism is our inspiration,” he said.
The work of RSS volunteers is to shape a person into a better human being, Bhagwat said.
Yashwantrao Kelkar was an inspiration for him and all swayamsevaks, he added. (PTI)
