JAMMU, Apr 23: An alleged drug peddler was arrested with approximately 4-5 grams of heroin-like substance from Rotary Chowk area here today.
During checking of vehicles at Rotary Chowk area, a motorcyclist, identified as Irfan Bhatti of Ustad Mohalla was found in possession of the consignment, a police official said.
According to him, the accused was accordingly booked in case FIR number 37/2026 under sections 8/21/22/25 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and further investigation taken up.
