JAMMU, Apr 23 : Ram Trust, a distinguished charitable organization today provided substantial financial aid and humanitarian support to poor and needy widows, senior citizens, disabled individuals, BPL families and domestic workers, irrespective of caste, creed, religion or language.
The trust was established in 2006 has been consistently working towards the welfare and upliftment of the underprivileged sections of society.
The financial assistance was distributed to deserving beneficiaries, including widows, elderly persons above the age of 60, disabled persons, BPL families and domestic servants.
Each beneficiary received Rs 2,000 as immediate financial relief.
The dedicated office bearers and members of the Trust have played a vital role in personally ensuring the successful execution of this welfare programme.
C P Gupta, Chairman Trustee, Virender Mahajan, Trustee, Anjali Mahajan, Trustee, Raghav Gupta, General Secretary, along with patrons Rajni Gupta, Sakshi Gupta, and Jyoti Lachotra, have worked tirelessly to make this initiative a success.
The Trust has also extended generous donations to several reputed social organizations to strengthen their social service initiatives.
They contributed to Home for Aged and Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Gau Raksha Samiti and Ved Mandir Bal Niketan, to help expand their social welfare activities.
Furthermore, the Trust contributes annually to Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha towards organizing the sacred Langar for devotees during the holy pilgrimage of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, which takes place every year in the month of July.
In another remarkable social initiative, Ram Trust recently organized a Stationery Distribution Camp on 31st March 2026, during which stationery kits containing exercise notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers and sharpeners were distributed among more than 100 poor and needy students, supporting their educational journey and encouraging academic growth.
The organization remains committed to expanding its social welfare programmes and reaching every deserving individual in need.
