VIJAYPUR, Apr 21: The All Jammu and Kashmir Jatt Sabha today celebrated the birth anniversary of Siromani Sant Dhanna Jatt, a mystic poet and a highly revered religious figure.
To mark the occasion, a function was organised in Vijaypur, where participants garlanded the statue of the spiritual and religious figure, who has inspired lakhs of devotees towards the mystical world and away from worldly attachments.
Addressing the gathering, former minister and president of the All Jammu and Kashmir Jatt Sabha, S Manjit Singh said, “His teachings will continue to guide future generations.”
In his address, he urged the Government to include Sant Dhanna Jatt Ji’s spiritual journey and struggles in the school curriculum in Jammu and Kashmir.
Among others who were present included Bachan Choudhary, Mandeep Randhawa, Naveen Choudhary; and others.
