President, PM, HM condole loss of lives

President Droupadi Murmu has condoled the loss of lives in a bus accident and prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
“I am deeply saddened to learn about the deaths of several people in the bus accident that occurred in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. I express my condolence to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragedy. I pray for the swift recovery of the injured,” Murmu said in a post on X in Hindi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed pain over the loss of lives in a bus accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur and announced an ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the families of those killed and Rs 50,000 for those injured.
“Pained to hear about the loss of lives due to a bus accident in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. I extend my heartfelt condolence to those who have lost their near and dear ones.
“I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. An ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each of those who lost their lives in the tragic mishap. The injured would be given Rs 50,000,” Modi said in a post on X.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday expressed condolence to the families of those killed in the Udhampur bus accident.
In a message posted on X, Shah said the road accident in Udhampur is extremely tragic.
“I express my deepest condolence to the families of those who lost their lives in this accident. The local administration is fully engaged with utmost promptness in relief and rescue operations. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured” he said.
