DONETSK, Apr 16: Several F-16 and Mirage aircraft were destroyed in a strike on an airfield in central Ukraine, according to Sergei Lebedev, coordinator of the pro-Russian underground network in Nikolayev (Mykolaiv).
“The airfield in the Kirovograd region has been attacked: several F-16 and Mirage warplanes were completely destroyed,” Lebedev told Sputnik.
The Dolgintsevo airfield (also known as Dolhintseve) in the Kirovograd region reportedly hosted foreign military personnel, and several foreign pilots were killed in the strike, the coordinator added. (UNI)
