MOSCOW, April 14: Spain has reopened its embassy in Tehran following the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, the Spanish diplomatic mission said.
“We are returning to Tehran. The Spanish Embassy in Iran is reopening following the ceasefire. Ambassador Antonio Sanchez-Benedito Gaspar, along with the diplomatic team and local staff, is returning to work with the intention of promoting peace,” the embassy said on X on Monday.
The Spanish embassy was evacuated on March 7, after the diplomatic mission ensured the departure of all Spaniards who wished to leave Iran. (UNI)
