Toura charts citizen-centric roadmap at EPFO Srinagar meet

JAMMU, April 9: Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) Regional Office Srinagar’s newly appointed Officer-in-Charge (OIC) and Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II, Sunil Kumar Toura, today chaired a review meeting to assess functioning and outline a comprehensive roadmap for the office.
During the meeting, Toura emphasized strengthening citizen-centric services, directing officials to ensure timely, efficient, and hassle-free delivery for subscribers, pensioners, and beneficiaries. He stressed expediting claim settlements, with particular sensitivity in handling death cases to provide prompt relief to affected families.
Highlighting transparency and accountability, he called for robust internal mechanisms, strict adherence to timelines, and regular monitoring of pendency to build stakeholder trust. He also underscored the need for proactive grievance redressal, urging stakeholders to come forward with their concerns and assuring a responsive and empathetic approach.
Toura further encouraged wider enrollment of establishments under the PMVBRY scheme to expand social security coverage and enhance financial protection for workers.
