Parkash Utsav of Guru Nabha Dass celebrated with fervour

JAMMU, Apr 8: The Parkash Utsav of Goswami Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj was celebrated with religious fervor in Kathua today.
MLA Kathua, Dr. Bharat Bhushan was the chief guest on the occasion. The other prominent persons present on the occasion included Duni Chand Sagotra former District & Sessions Judge, Rajinder Kumar Digra, District Information Officer, Kathua, Punjab Chand former Deputy Secretary, Dr. Shiv Kumar, former Deputy Director, Textation, Sushil Gupta, president Brick Klin Association Kathua Shyam Narayan Mehta besides a large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
President of Guru Nabha Dass Ji Mandir Committee, Kathua and former Sarpanch Mohan Lal welcomed the chief guest and other people.
The programme started with Havan Yagya in the morning and the Guru Nabha Dass Kirtan Mandli sang Bhajans on the occasion.
The floral tributes were paid to Guru Ji. The speakers highlighted the teachings of Guru ji on the occasion.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, MLA Kathua while paying tributes exhorted the devotes to follow the path of universal brotherhood, amity and harmony shown by Guru Ji through Granth Bhaktmaal which has description of the contribution of over 200 saints of 15th and 16th century. He said that teachings of our saints are even more relevant in the present times when there is turmoil in the world. Later Bhandara was also served to the devotees.
