JAMMU, Apr 7: GGM Science College, Jammu, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rapture Biotech Jammu (J&K), functioning under Sarv Shakti Innovation & Technology, with the objective of strengthening academic collaboration, research advancement, placement opportunities, and skill enhancement for students.
The MoU aims to promote practical learning and employability in the fields of Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, and allied disciplines by providing hands-on training, industry exposure, and innovation-driven learning opportunities. The initiative also seeks to encourage entrepreneurship and support start-up culture among students.
The agreement was formally signed by Prof Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal, GGM Science College Jammu, and Ambika Slathia, Director, Rapture Biotech Jammu. The signing ceremony was graced by Dr Devinder Kumar Sharma, Convenor, Career Counselling and Placement Cell, and Dr Devi Dass, Head of the Department of Electronics.
