JAMMU, Apr 1: The Drugs and Food Control Organization, Jammu and Kashmir, has delegated licensing powers under the Drugs Rules, 1945, to strengthen regulatory functioning in the region.
As per an order issued by the Office of the State Drugs Controller, Sanjeev Kumar, Assistant Controller Drugs, has been authorized to act as Licensing Authority for Jammu district (retail sale) with immediate effect.
The officer has been empowered to sign licenses, issue show-cause notices, and handle suspension or cancellation of licenses, along with other functions mandated under the relevant provisions of the Drugs Rules, 1945.
