SRINAGAR, Mar 31: Awami Ittehad Party’s former founder member Tanveer Ahmad Dar from north Kashmir’s Langate constituency today joined the Apni Party in the presence of party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and other senior leaders.
In a special event held at the Apni Party headquarters in Srinagar, Dar joined the Apni Party along with scores of his workers and associates.
Extending a warm welcome to the new members, Apni Party chief Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said the party would provide them ample opportunities to serve the people in their respective areas. He hoped their joining would further strengthen the party cadre in their constituency.
The prominent leaders who were present on the occasion and greeted the new members included Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Chairman PAC Mohammad Dilawar Mir, District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, Dr Nooruddin Shah, Mohammad Munawar Khaja, Nazir Ahmad Dar, Mohammad Ramzan Waza, Khurshid Ahmad Gilani, Bashir Ahmad Lone, and others.
