SAMBA, Mar 31: Vice president of the Bharatiya Janata Party J&K and District Samba prabhari Rekha Mahajan, today chaired a series of meetings with party workers across different mandals in Samba district, focusing on strengthening grassroots organization and improving coordination.
The meetings were held at Booth Number 23 in Panchayat Avtal, Chak Chattaka (Mandal Ramgarh), Booths 18 and 19 in Village Chowni (Mandal Swankha), and Booths 88, 89, 91 and 92 in Panchayat Gurwal and Village Badali (Vijaypur Mandal). These interactions brought together key functionaries and booth-level workers to review ongoing activities and plan future outreach.
Among those present were programme incharge Vijaypur constituency Jairam Sharma, programme incharge Ramgarh constituency Naveen Sharma, mandal presidents Nancy Choudhary and Dheeraj Sharma, District Development Council member Anita Choudhary, Sarpanch Moni Sharma, mandal general secretary Kastoori Lal, along with several senior leaders and booth workers.
During the meetings, discussions centred on strengthening the party’s organizational structure at the booth level, enhancing coordination among workers, and expanding voter outreach. Emphasis was laid on ensuring effective implementation of party programmes and improving communication between leadership and grassroots cadres.
Addressing the gatherings, Mahajan highlighted the pivotal role of booth-level workers in building the party’s presence. She described them as the backbone of the organization and stressed that their consistent engagement with the public is essential for expanding outreach and impact.
She urged workers to maintain close contact with the people and ensure that government welfare schemes reach every household. She also underlined the importance of experienced leaders in guiding younger cadres, noting that their mentorship helps maintain discipline and organizational stability.
Calling for unity and dedication, Mahajan encouraged workers to identify local issues and ensure timely redressal through proper channels. She reaffirmed that collective commitment and active public engagement are key to further strengthening the party’s base in Samba district.
