JAMMU, Mar 30: The J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI successfully conducted the AICA Level 1 programme from March 28 to 30, 2026, focused on building practical understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the accounting profession.
The programme featured expert-led sessions by CA Rohit Narang, CA Tapas Ruparelia and CA Akhil Pachori, who delivered in-depth insights on AI tools, real-world use cases and their relevance in modern professional practice.
The programme also included an address by CA Amit Gupta, who highlighted the growing importance of technology adoption in the profession.
Designed to be practical and implementation-oriented, the sessions enabled participants to understand how AI can be effectively integrated into routine workflows. CA Sanchit Aggarwal, Secretary of the J&K Branch, attended the course as a participant and he was also involved in organising the programme.
The programme was also graced by the presence of Managing Committee Members—CA Jatin Malhotra, vice chairman, CA Ayush Mahajan, treasurer, CA Sourav Pargal, past chairman and CA Ayush Sawhney, executive member.
