KATHUA, Mar 29: Capt (retd) Gian Singh Pathania was elected as chairman of J&K Ex-Services Welfare Association Kathua and Manohar Singh as president of the Association in election of Executive Body held at PalliMorh here today.
The election was held under the supervision of observes including
Bal Krishan retired J&K Bank Manager, Shiv Dev Singh retired Excise Inspector and Krishan Chand retired Middle School Headmaster.
No fresh candidates filed nomination for election. Ultimately the present executive body was declared as elected for next two year in the presence of Ex-Servicemen/War Widows and Veer Naries of District Kathua.

Sub Maj (retd) Vijay Kumar Sharma – vice president, Capt (retd) Sukh Ram – advisor, Capt 9retd) Madan Singh Jasrotia- general secretary and Nb. Sub (retd) Mejora Singh-treasurer.
