Sat, Jugal, Manyal pay obeisance to Guru Nabha Dass Ji on 454th Prakash Utsav

JAMMU, Mar 29: J&K BJP president and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma, today attended the celebration of the 454th Prakash Utsav of Goswami Shri Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj at Abhinav Theatre, here.
Paying obeisance to Guru Nabha Dass Maharaj, Sat Sharma extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion. In his address, he highlighted the eternal relevance of Guru Ji’s spiritual teachings and his immense contribution to India’s composite culture.
He further emphasized that Guru Nabha Dass Ji propagated the message of social awakening and unity, advocating brotherhood and compassion as the foundation of service to humanity.
Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said, “Goswami Shri Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj guided humanity to live an honest, truthful, and virtuous life. Through his works, he inspired society towards devotion, revitalized Indian civilization and culture, and instilled self-confidence among the masses.”
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh and former Minister, called upon people to rise above narrow considerations and work towards unity across all sections of society. He stated that the progressive teachings of Guru Nabha Dass Ji envisioned an ideal society free from divisions and discrimination, thereby strengthening social equity.
Referring to the Bhakti era, Dr. Manyal noted that Guru Nabha Dass Ji emphasized devotion and spiritual upliftment, along with the elimination of class distinctions to foster stronger social bonds and brotherhood. He added that Guru Ji highlighted devotion and meditation as means of continuous self-transformation, stating that life itself is a process of constant evolution.
On the occasion, CA Sat Sharma and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma also felicitated achievers from diverse fields for their notable contributions.
Among others present were Yudhvir Sethi, MLA Jammu East; Dr. Bharat Bhushan, MLA Kathua, Sansar Chand, president, Guru Nabha Dass Samaj Kalyan Parishad; senior officials; and a large number of devotees and members of the public.
