SRINAGAR, Mar 25: The J&K Medical Council (JKMC) today announced the commencement of the application process for Compulsory Rotatory Medical Internship (CRMI) for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) of the December 2025 batch.
According to a notification issued by the Council, FMGs who have obtained MBBS degrees from recognized foreign institutions and qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) are eligible to apply for CRMI in medical colleges across Jammu and Kashmir.
The Council has directed eligible candidates to apply online through its official website by accessing the FMG CRMI module, completing the application form, and uploading the required documents as per prescribed guidelines.
It has clarified that no offline applications will be accepted at either the Jammu or Srinagar offices.
As per the schedule, the last date for submission of online applications is April 30, 2026, up to 5:00 PM. Physical verification of documents will be conducted at Council offices in Jammu and Srinagar until May 8, 2026, subject to prior online appointment.
The provisional merit list will be published on May 12, 2026, followed by a window for submission of objections until May 15, 2026, 5:00 PM.
The final merit list, along with the allotment of medical colleges for CRMI, will be released on May 22, 2026.
The notification was issued with the approval of the competent authority and signed by JKMC Registrar Dr. Sandeep Dogra.
