Indian envoy in Shanghai highlights India’s growth potential at round table meet

BEIJING, Mar 25 : Consulate General of India to Shanghai, Pratik Mathur, has highlighted the “immense potential” of India to deliver sustainable development benefits for all partnering countries.

Participating in a round table on India’s Growth Story, hosted by HSBC in Shanghai on Wednesday, Mathur underlined the strong growth momentum of the Indian economy and the rising opportunities for foreign investment, a press release from the Shanghai Consulate said.

Participants also spotlighted recent initiatives such as the AI Summit and the India-EU FTA, noting how these are further enhancing global investor interest in India and opening new avenues for sectoral cooperation and employment generation.

He engaged with leading Chinese companies, including Ant Group, Fosun International, Tigermed Consulting, and UniTree Robotics, along with global media brands, it said.

The active participation of top Chinese companies and leading global corporations made the conversations highly productive, paving the way for stronger collaboration and mutual benefit, it said. (PTI)
