JAMMU, Mar 23: In a moment of immense pride and celebration, the All India Jat Mahasabha (J&K), led by its president Manmohan Choudhary, felicitated young JKAS achiever Rohit Choudhary at his residence in Sai Kalan village of the Ranbir Singh Pura area.
Rohit, who recently secured a place in the final merit list of the prestigious Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS) examination, was honoured with a memento in the presence of Sabha members and local residents. The event turned into a proud gathering for the entire community, celebrating the success of a youth who has brought recognition not only to his village but also to the Jat community at large.
Speaking on the occasion, Manmohan Choudhary described Rohit’s achievement as “a historic and pride-filled moment for the Jat community.” He emphasized that Rohit has become a role model for Jat youth across Jammu and Kashmir, proving that dedication, education, and strong values can lead to the highest levels of success.
Highlighting the challenges faced by people living in border areas, he added that Rohit’s journey from a sensitive region with limited resources to achieving success in a prestigious examination sends a powerful message of hope and determination. He urged community members to support education and encourage youth to aim for civil services and other competitive fields.
Rohit’s parents, Mulkh Raj Choudhary and Kiran Devi Choudhary, were also felicitated for their constant support and sacrifices. Villagers and community elders praised the family for nurturing values of discipline and perseverance.
In his address, Rohit expressed gratitude to the Sabha and the community, stating that their encouragement strengthens his resolve to serve society with honesty and dedication. He also encouraged Jat youth to remain focused on education and believe in their capabilities.
