KHOUR, Mar 20: A Prashikshan Shivir organised by workers of Bharatiya Janata Party in the Chamb Assembly Constituency in Khour, was held here today.
The shivir was addressed by Senior leader and former health Minister Bali Bhagat.
The programme formed part of the BJP’s nationwide Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan 2026, a 5-day intensive campaign aimed at reinforcing ideological clarity, organisational discipline and booth-level outreach across the country.
Addressing the gathering, Bali Bhagat asserted that structured training remains the backbone of the BJP’s organisational strength.
He said such programmes are conducted at every level to equip workers with a deep understanding of the party’s ideology, governance model and political journey.
“BJP is the only political party where structured training is carried out at every level, ensuring that each worker is ideologically strong and organisationally capable,” he said, adding that mandal-level sessions mark a decisive step in strengthening the party’s grassroots base.
The BJP leader emphasized that the ongoing training drive is designed to prepare karyakartas to effectively communicate the party’s vision, policies and development agenda to the public.
Calling the initiative a “cadre-building mission,” he said it will help create disciplined, informed and committed political workers.
Highlighting the broader impact, Bali noted that such programmes enable workers to connect more effectively with people and strengthen BJP’s presence at the booth level.
“These training camps will play a crucial role in building a strong and dedicated cadre committed to nation-building,” he added.
Among others who addressed the session included former MLAs Rajeev Sharma and Dr Krishan Lal Bhagat, along with Akhnoor district president Kuldip Sharma and Akhnoor district Prabhari Viney Gupta, District Vice Chairman and DDC Suraj Singh, DDC Bhushan Baral, Manmohan Singh, BJP Mandal Presidents Ankush Choudhary and Bodh Raj, Pershotam Singh, District Vice President Ajay Singh and several senior party functionaries.
