TAC framed for AI adoption in ACB investigations

JAMMU, Mar 20: Government of Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a Technical Appraisal Committee (TAC) to evaluate the proposed project on the “Adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in investigative operations in the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB).”
As per the Government order, the committee will be chaired by the Chief Executive Officer, JaKeGA, and includes key members such as the State Informatics Officer of the National Informatics Centre, J&K; Prof Majid Zaman from the Department of Computer Science, University of Kashmir; Dr Shabir Ahmad Sofi, Associate Professor, Department of Information Technology, National Institute of Technology Srinagar; and Dr Mrinmoy Bhattacharjee, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Jammu.
The Under Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, will serve as Member Secretary of the committee.
As per the order, the AIG (Administration), ACB Headquarters, J&K, has been designated as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for coordination. The committee has been tasked to submit its report to the Information Technology Department within 45 days from the issuance of the order.
