KATHUA, Mar 14: MLA Dr Bharat Bhushan today laid foundation stone of a Tourism Dormitory and Guest House in the permises of Shree Mata Bala Sundri Shrine in Nagri Parole, Kathua.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Bharat Bhushan stated that the Guest House cum Dormitory will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.25 crores and is a significant step towards improving facilities for pilgrims, who visit this shrine throughout the year in large numbers.
The MLA further stated that the development of facilities at religious and tourist places is a priority to ensure convenience for devotees and visitors.
“This Dormitory cum Guest House will provide comfortable accommodation to pilgrims visiting Mata Bala Sundri Shrine Nagri and will further promote pilgrim tourism in the District,” he said.
The MLA also highlighted that several development initiatives are being undertaken in the Kathua constituency to strengthen basic infrastructure and improve public facilities.
He reiterated his commitment to work for the welfare and development of the region.
