Sir,
The floods in the State proved a catastrophe. Its caused immense loss to people. The army and paramilitary forces both men and aeroplanes played a responsible duty. The army deserved Kudos for their timely and brave efforts to save the lives of people. Sensing the gravity of the situation both Home Minister and PM had an aerial survey of both the divisions of the State to assess the loss caused by rains.
The PM extended his full cooperation both morally and financially. Had not the rain God been merciful when the rain stopped, the worst would have happened.
Besides the Central Govts help many NGOs and Red Cross societies came forward to help the victims. It is a well known fact that Indians become one when such natural calamities take place. Property lost can be regained and everything can be made possible to bring their life on rails but the human loss causes can never be regained. Only the kiths and kins of the deceased person know the gravity of the situation.
The greatest responsibility falls on the shoulders of State Government to arrange the funds received for proper distribution on passionate grounds after calculating the losses in a scientific manner. It also becomes the responsibility of the public to come forward and extend every kind of help to flood affected people.
Yours etc….
