Srinagar, Mar 13: National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah today called for unity and hope that there is end to the Middle East war that had led to global energy crisis.

Speaking to reporters at Hazratbal after offering Friday prayers, Abdullah said: “There is no power other than Allah. He is the only One. He was and He will be. We should remain united, because we can move forward only with unity.”

Referring to the ongoing petrol, diesel and gas shortages, the NC Chief said the crisis is linked to the global situation.
“There is a crisis, especially with petrol, diesel and gas. This crisis is happening because there is a big war going on. May Allah end that war? May Allah end the powers that want to harm Islam,” he said.
