MATHURA, March 7 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Mathura-Vrindavan, the city of Krishna, today and offered prayers at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi.
While reviewing development projects, he also addressed Ayodhya, conveying a significant message about the future of Braj.
Addressing devotees after offering prayers at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi, the Chief Minister said that just as the work on the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya was completed, with the blessings of Lord Krishna, future programmes will also progress successfully here.
The Chief Minister’s visit began with the inauguration of the Tourism Police Station in Vrindavan.
He then held a board meeting of the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad.
Council Vice Chairman Shailjakant Mishra presented a point-by-point progress report on the ongoing development projects in the district.
Regarding the Banke Bihari Corridor, the Chief Minister reviewed the ongoing discussions and progress regarding the corridor’s construction.
The Chief Minister clarified that, on the lines of the Govardhan Parikrama, the 84 Kosi Parikrama route will now also be developed in a grand manner. Officials were instructed that no delay in development work would be tolerated.
“I express my heartfelt gratitude that the Holi celebrations continue in this land of Braj. In every dust and every particle here, we all have the memories of our Krishna Kanhaiya, and the memories of Radha Rani are deeply embedded in them,” he said.
“We all joined in this occasion, and I was watching, even though I was not here on that occasion, but from wherever we were, we could see that millions of devotees in Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Gokul, Baldev, Nandgaon, Govardhan and all the other villages were involved in this event with such enthusiasm and excitement that it overwhelmed every person,” he added.
The Chief Minister said, “I greet you all and congratulate you on this holy festival. This tradition of festivals and celebrations is a great strength of our India and with the blessings of Lord Krishna, future events will proceed successfully here, just like at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.”
