RAJOURI, Mar 1: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), District Rajouri, today submitted a formal written complaint at Police Station Rajouri, demanding the immediate registration of an FIR against MLA Budhal, Javaid Iqbal Chowdhary, for making misleading, and communal remarks during a public function.
The delegation was led by BJYM District president, Azhar Mehmood, accompanied by Adv Tarun Vassun, along with members of the BJYM team.
The complaint relates to statement made by the MLA while laying the foundation stone of the Kewal- Kangota Road under PMGSY, where he attempted to falsely portray that Muslims are being deliberately excluded from important administrative and constitutional positions. BJYM strongly condemned these remarks, stating that they are baseless, irresponsible, and aimed at creating mistrust and division in the society.
Tarun Vassun stated that such irresponsible remarks by an elected representative can seriously disturb public order and social peace. He stressed that no individual should be allowed to misuse public platforms to spread misinformation and communal hatred.
BJYM delegation demanded immediate registration of an FIR against the MLA under relevant provisions of law and urged the police administration to conduct a fair and time-bound investigation.
