SAMBA, Feb 28: Samba police has arrested an accused in connection with a case registered at Police Station (PS) Samba during the year 2013 and executed the arrest warrant issued by the Samba Court under Section 512 CrPC for non-appearance of the accused during trial proceedings.
A police spokesman said team of district police Samba arrested an absconder namely Vijay Kumar, son of Bindru Ram of Mananu tehsil and district Samba in case FIR No. 16/2013 U/S 279, 304-A RPC registered at PS Samba.
Accordingly, the absconder was produced in the court of law and was sent to District Jail Kathua by the Samba Court. Thus, the arrest warrant U/S 512 CrPC issued against him got executed, spokesman said.
