UDHAMPUR, Feb 28: BJP J&K president and MP (Rajya Sabha) Sat Sharma, CA underlined that sustained training initiatives are essential to preserving the ideological strength and organizational discipline of the party.
Addressing a party’s trainees workshop here, today as part of the nationwide Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan, he observed that the BJP’s distinct identity stems from its ideological commitment and service-driven cadre base rather than mere electoral success. He reiterated that the party’s ultimate objective is national service and social upliftment, anchored in principled politics.
Sat Sharma emphasized that nurturing responsible and value-based activists forms the bedrock of a strong organization, which in turn contributes to national progress. He urged trainers to cultivate dedication, discipline, and ideological firmness among party workers so they effectively represent good governance and nationalist values in their respective areas.
Addressing the workshop, BJP general secretary (Org), Ashok Koul elaborated on the party’s organizational framework, the concept of Panch Parivartan, and the centrality of the ‘Nation First’ doctrine. He stressed that ideological awareness must permeate down to the booth-level structure to ensure cohesive functioning and sustained public confidence. He called for structured implementation of the training modules, periodic review mechanisms, and consistent engagement to ensure that the spirit of service is reflected in tangible work on the ground.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Ramgarh and North Zone convener of the Abhiyan in his address, remarked that a committed BJP activist embodies the organization’s values and vision in everyday public life. He highlighted that discipline, clarity of thought, and continuous interaction with society set BJP workers apart. Regular and focused training, he noted, sharpens communication abilities, strengthens intellectual preparedness, and enhances organizational competence, enabling workers to counter misinformation effectively and articulate the party’s agenda with confidence.
The workshop was attended by district Prabharis, district presidents, MLAs, district Seh-Prabharis, appointed trainers, and specially constituted four-member district teams tasked with executing the Abhiyan at the grassroots level.
Senior leaders including Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Gopal Mahajan, and J&K Prashikshan Abhiyan convenor, Dr. Parneesh Mahajan were also present and shared their perspectives.
