JAMMU, Feb 24: The Public Works (R&B) Department of the Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the placement of 25 In-charge Assistant Executive Engineers—comprising 18 degree holders and 7 diploma holders—as In-charge Executive Engineers (Civil) in their own pay and grade.
Consequently, the department has ordered the adjustment and transfer of several senior engineers besides assigning additional charges to others to streamline operations in departments such as PMGSY, DIQC, and Rural Development.
