BARI BRAHMANA, Feb 22: An alleged drug peddler was arrested with 107 grams of Ganja-like substance in Bari Brahamana area here today.
While performing the patrolling duty near Pillar number 82 on the National Highway at Bari Brahmana area, a party of the concerned Police Station intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances, a police official said.
During frisking of the suspected individual, approximately 107 grams of Ganja-like substance was recovered, he said.
Accordingly, the drug peddler, identified as Abdul Aziz of Kothi, Chandyal, Bani, District Kathua at present Teli Basti, Bari Brahmana, was arrested and booked in case FIR number 70/2026 under sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and further investigation taken up.
