8 hurt in Panihad road accident

RAJOURI, Feb 14: Eight persons were injured in a road accident that occurred at Panihad on Saturday after a Tampo went out of control today.
Reports said the vehicle reportedly lost control under circumstances yet to be ascertained, resulting in injuries to all the eight occupants. The injured have been identified as Mohd Alayas, son of Jalal Din, age 45 years; Maneer Hussain, son of Israil, age 60 years; Mohd Rafi, son of Mohd Shafi, age 28 years; Mohd Younis, son of Ghulam Nabi, age 28 years; Mohd Yousif, son of Ghulam Nabi, age 40 years; Fazal Hussain, son of Noor Mohammad, age 45 years, Shazia Akhter, daughter of Jahan Mohammad, age 17 years and Seerit Nawaz, daughter of Rab Nawaz, age 10 years, all hailing from Panihad.
Soon after the incident, locals and police teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby health facility for treatment. All the injured were shifted to GMC Rajouri and MS GMC Rajouri Dr Shamim told that the injured are under treatment in the Hospital and the condition of the injured is stable.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings.
