Scorpio, motorcycle stolen from 2 different locations in Samba

SAMBA, Feb 11: A Scorpio and a motorcycle were stolen from two different locations along the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway here last night.
Police have registered a case and initiated further investigation. According to reports, the Scorpio belonged to a restaurant owner in Samba, who had parked it at the parking site as usual. When he arrived to pick up his car on Wednesday morning, he found it missing. He searched for it for several hours but was unable to trace it.
Following this, the owner, Rakesh Kumar, son of Prakash Chand, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, filed a written complaint with the Samba Police Station. In another incident, thieves also decamped with a motorcycle parked outside a shop along the Highway. The motorcycle owner, Ajay Kumar, son of Mangat Ram, a resident of Billawar, Kathua, said, “I work in Samba and, like every day, I parked my motorcycle at the same spot and went to my room”. “However, on Wednesday morning, I couldn’t find it, and I lodged a complaint at the Samba Police Station. Police have taken cognizance of both cases and initiated further action.”
