Samba, Feb 7: An MBBS student died under suspicious circumstances in Chak Manga, Ward No. 13 area of Samba here late Friday night.
According to the information received, the student was pursuing his MBBS degree in Srinagar and was in his fourth year. He was studying in Srinagar while living with his mother and had returned home with her on Friday evening.
Late Friday night, his family members found him in his room under suspicious circumstances. His panicked parents immediately rushed him to the Samba District Hospital, but he had already passed away.
The police arrived at the scene, completed the necessary legal formalities, and handed over the body to the family on Saturday. The deceased student has been identified as Abhishek Dogra (23), son of Kuldeep Raj, a resident of Chak Manga. The police have registered a case in this regard and started further investigation.
