MSJK demands Statehood restoration

JAMMU, Feb 4: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple demanding restoration of Statehood to J&K and for opening of the National Law University in Jammu region.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple said that they might give a Jammu Band call if their demands are not fulfilled.
Protesters demanded bringing of a Bill in the J&K Assembly to debate the abrogation of Article 370 and delay in the restoration of Statehood to J&K.
Dimple claimed that the Union Ministry for Home Affairs was non-committal on the restoration of Statehood to J&K.
He claimed that all the 29 BJP MLAs have shut their mouth on the demand of Statehood to J&K and in turn they are demanding separate Jammu State.
Those who were present in the protest were Deepak Kumar, R.K Jannu Wala, Ricky Bhasin, Hasan Khan, Mohd Amien, Ibrahim, Daleep, Deepak Kumar, Vikas Kumar and many others.
