JAMMU, Feb 2: The Jammu and Kashmir Government today ordered promotions of three Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers to higher grades with immediate effect.
As per a Government order, Dhananter Singh has been promoted to the Special Scale of JKAS in pay level 13 and designated as Special Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department.
In a separate order, Umesh Sharma and Abid Iqbal Malik were promoted to the Selection Grade of JKAS in pay level 12.
Consequent upon his promotion, Umesh Sharma has been posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, while Abid Iqbal Malik will continue at his present place of posting.
