“There are states like Maharshtra and Gujarat where more than one National Law Universities have been established and there is nothing unusual if two NLUs are sanctioned for J&K. We have failed to understand the opposition of National Conference leaders and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to our demand,” said the students.
They also criticized deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary for mocking at the students over their demand for NLA in Jammu and said that the region has been suffering because of such leaders.
The protesters dispersed off peacefully and vowed to take the ongoing agitation for NLA to a logical conclusion.
