JAMMU, Jan 31: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu district Mahila Morcha today organised an Introductory-cum-Monthly meeting here aimed at further strengthening the organisational framework and enhancing coordination at the district level.
The meeting was chaired by BJP J&K UT Mahila Morcha president Neha Mahajan. The programme witnessed the presence of district president, BJP Jammu, Rajesh Gupta, BJP vice president and former Minister, Priya Sethi, MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, MLA Jammu East, Yudhvir Sethi, and Urvashi Gupta, general secretary, BJP Mahila Morcha J&K UT and Parliamentary constituency in charge.
The meeting was organised under the leadership of Jammu district Mahila Morcha president, Anuradha Sharma.
During the programme, the newly appointed district in charge Prernaa Nanda and co-incharge, Shallu Gupta were formally felicitated by the senior leadership, recognising their responsibilities and organisational commitment.
Addressing the gathering, Neha Mahajan highlighted the decisive role of Mahila Morcha in booth-level mobilisation and organisational expansion. She exhorted the members to ensure effective last-mile delivery of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s women-centric welfare schemes and to strengthen the party’s connect with Matrashakti.
District president, BJP Jammu, Rajesh Gupta emphasised organisational unity, discipline and collective responsibility, underlining the vital role of Mahila Morcha in fortifying the party’s grassroot structure.
BJP vice president and former Minister, Priya Sethi stressed the importance of women empowerment through political participation, awareness and leadership, and called upon Mahila Morcha members to work with dedication and resolve.
MLA East Jammu Yudhvir Sethi highlighted the need for organisational discipline and coordinated efforts, motivating the Mahila Morcha team to work in close synergy with the district leadership.
MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta appreciated the dedication and enthusiasm of Mahila Morcha workers and encouraged them to continue their sustained grassroot outreach for social welfare and holistic development.
Urvashi Gupta briefed the gathering on organisational responsibilities and upcoming programmes, emphasising teamwork and structured planning.
Prernaa Nanda, vice president, BJP Mahila Morcha and district incharge, expressed gratitude to the party leadership for reposing faith in her and assured wholehearted dedication towards strengthening the organisation.
