ANANTNAG, Jan 30: An alleged drug peddler was arrested with 16 grams of heroin-like substance from Achabal Chowk area here today.
During naka checking at Achabal Chowk, a vehicle (JK03C-4157) was intercepted for checking, a police official said.
On search of the vehicle, 16 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered, he said.
Accordingly, the occupant of the car, identified as Arif Ramzan Mir of Shangus, Anantnag, was arrested and booked under the relevant sections of the law registered at Police Station Achabal and further investigation taken up.
