JAMMU, Jan 30: Trikuta Degree College, under the Trikuta Group of Colleges organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “New Age Teaching Techniques” at its campus. The workshop aimed to train teachers for blended learning, in line with NEP objectives and enhance pedagogical skills and professional competence.
The FDP featured expert sessions by Md Aadil, Learning and Development Soft Skill Trainer from ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu and other renowned academicians, covering topics like innovative teaching methods, research methodology, outcome-based education and use of technology in teaching.
The program was inaugurated by Chairperson Suman Sharma, who highlighted the importance of continuous professional development, while Sunita Sharma emphasized the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and teacher capacity building.
Interactive workshops, panel discussions and hands-on sessions provided practical learning opportunities. The FDP concluded with a valedictory session, where certificates were distributed to participants, marking a significant step toward fostering innovation and quality teaching practices.
