JAMMU, Sept 8: Khour police today arrested a history sheeter, who was involved in various cases and was evading his arrest since long.
According to Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Akhnoor Naresh Singh, on specific inputs, police party from Khour Police Station conducted a raid and arrested a notorious criminal, who was evaing his arrest since long.
The accused has been identified as Sandeep Singh alias Seepu, son of Ashok Singh of Pallanwala, he said, adding that the accused was wanted in rape, burglary and snatching cases.
The accused was wanted in a case registered with Khour Police Station under Section 382 RPC, he added.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
