JAMMU, Jan 29: The Home Department has ordered temporary suspension of mobile data services of 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G in three areas of Kishtwar district to prevent its misuse by the anti-national elements.

The mobile data services have been suspended in Singhpora, Chingam and Chatroo areas of Kishtwar district from 0001 hours on 29.1.2016 to 2359 hours on 30.1.2026.
An order to this effect was issued today by Principal Secretary Home Department Chandraker Bharti.
It may be mentioned here that security forces have been engaged in operations in Chatroo and surrounding areas to track down the terrorists involved in a gun battle in which an Army soldier was recently martyred.
The terrorists are on the run.
