Subject: Publication of Provisional Seniority list of Casual Safai Karamcharis – inviting objections thereof.
Whereas, various representations have been received from Casual Safai Karamcharis from time to time regarding fixation of their seniority and consideration of their educational/technical qualifications;
Whereas, the matter has been examined in detail at this office and it was observed that discrepancies were mainly arising due to non-availability, incomplete submission, or variation in service-related documents such as date of engagement, continuity of service, qualification certificates, and other relevant records; Whereas, in order to address the grievances in a transparent manner, all available records/documents submitted by the concerned Executive Officers and P&Aos of ULBs and those available in their official records have been scrutinized and verified to the extent possible;
Whereas, based on the verified documents and records available, a provisional seniority list of Casual Safai Karamcharis has been prepared subject to availability and authenticity of documentary evidence; Whereas, it is considered necessary, in the interest of natural justice and transparency, to provide an opportunity to all concerned persons to examine the said provisional seniority list (Annexure A) and submit objections, if any, before the same is finalized; Now, therefore, all concerned Casual Safai Karamcharis are hereby invited to submit objections/representations, if any, with proper documentary proof in support of their claim, within 15 days from the date of publication of the provisional seniority list. Objections received after the stipulated period or without supporting documents shall not be entertained.
This order is issued with the approval of the competent authority.
