JAMMU, Jan 24: The National Executive Committee meeting of Shri Hindu Sangh Organization (SHSO) was held today under the leadership of the national president, Bal Sant Sahil Maharaj.
During the meeting, with the unanimous consent of the National Executive Committee, Balbir Singh was appointed as president, of SHSO, J&K Narendra Singh as acting president, of SHSO, J&K and renowned singer Harvinder Singh (Rio Singh) was appointed as president, of SHSO Punjab State.
Congratulating the newly appointed office bearers, Sahil said that SHSO is firmly committed to the ideals of Sanatan culture, nationalism and social harmony.
He expressed confidence that the new leadership would further energize the organization and play a vital role in serving society while upholding India’s timeless cultural values.
BJP Spokesperson Zorawar Singh Jamwal emphasized the civilizational significance of Sanatan Dharma, stating that it is not merely a religion but a way of life rooted in universal values such as truth, compassion, harmony and service.
He lauded the efforts of saints and social organizations in strengthening national consciousness and guiding society on the path of righteousness.
Among others who attended the meeting included Mahant Rajesh Giri, president, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (Jammu-Kashmir & Ladakh), Mahant Keshav Das, Subhash Chandra and other senior office bearers of the organization.
