BSP leaders discuss crisis arisen due to floods

JAMMU, Sept 7: A high level meeting of Bahujan Samaj Party headed by National general secretary and Member Rajya Sabha, Narinder Kashyap was held here today to discuss in the flood crises arisen due to unprecedented and all time high rainfall and the losses occurred due to that.
The meeting was also attended by MP Awatar Singh Karimpuri, State co-ordinators, Gurnam Choudhary and Parkash Bharti, State president, Tulsi Dass Lengeh, vice-president, R L Chadgotra,  general secretary, Rakesh Wazir, Ex- MLA, Som Nath, SR Majotra and Pawan Kundal.
Speaking on the occasion, Kashyap said that this rainfall has created havocs in the whole State in which hundreds of villages, houses, precious lives of people and animals have been lost and it is the time when Government of State and Centre should put all their resources for saving the precious lives of the people and the properties.
Alleging that thousands of people are still trapped in flooded water while others are living a miserable life when their properties, crops, animals are altogether lost and damaged, he appealed both Center and State Government to come to their rescue without any wastage of time and provide them financial as well as other aids.
Kashyap further said that a BSP delegation will meet the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Shantmanu on September 9 in this regard.
The meeting among others was attended by Bharat Bhushan, Ravinder Pappu, Behari Lal Dhingra, Puran Chand, Charan Dass, Raj Kumar and Gardhari Lal.
