JAMMU, Jan 23: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command, along with the General Officer Commanding of Rising Star Corps and White Knight Corps, today visited the Joint Control Centre at Rampur to review the prevailing operational scenario in the area.
During the visit, the Army Commander carried out a detailed assessment of the operational preparedness of troops deployed in the Bani-Macchedi Sector.
He was briefed on the existing security situation, deployment readiness, and the operational measures currently in place to maintain stability in the sector.
The review also focused on enhancing coordination between different formations to ensure effective conduct of joint operations in the present operational environment.
Emphasis was laid on better information sharing, seamless coordination, and quick response mechanisms to deal with any emerging challenges.
Lt Gen Pratik Sharma appreciated the professionalism, high morale, and dedication of the troops deployed in the sector.
He urged them to continue maintaining a high level of alertness and preparedness, reiterating the Northern Command’s commitment to safeguarding national security through coordinated and proactive operational efforts.
