JAMMU, Jan 22: A Pakistani prisoner, who was lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal here, died due to some medical complications, officials said.
Rafiq Mohammad, whose parentage and other details were not known, complained of stomach pain late night on January 21, they said.
He was immediately taken to Government Medical College Jammu for treatment, where he breathed his last, officials said.
The body has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination, they said.
Pertinently, Rafiq Mohammad was arrested in 2012 by Police Station Ramgarh in Samba District under the Foreigners Act and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot Bhalwal.
