SAMBA, Jan 15: As part of Road Safety Month 2026, a Road Safety Training Programme was successfully organised in collaboration with ARTO, Samba at Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd, Bari Brahmana.
The programme was conducted under the leadership of Neeraj Sharma, ARTO, Samba. The training session was imparted by Avinash Pandita, Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI), through a PowerPoint presentation, during which participants were sensitised on key aspects of road safety, safe driving practices, and adherence to traffic rules. Mansoor Hussain, Senior Motor Vehicle Inspector was also present during the programme.
The training witnessed active participation from the management and employees of Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd. Senior officials present on the occasion included Roopesh Mirji, Plant Head; Haresh Korde, Quality Head; Kamlesh Devikar, HR Head; and Sourabh Kapoor, EHS Head. A large number of employees attended the programme, reflecting the organisation’s strong commitment towards road safety awareness and employee welfare.
On the occasion, Neeraj Sharma, ARTO, Samba, appreciated the management of Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd, Bari Brahmana, for taking the initiative to organise such awareness programmes for their employees and for supporting road safety initiatives.
The programme concluded with the administration of a Road Safety Pledge, reaffirming the participants’ commitment towards safer road behaviour. The vote of thanks was presented by Roopesh Mirji, Plant Head, Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd, who expressed gratitude to ARTO, Samba and its team for conducting the Road Safety Training Programme at the site.
