JAMMU, Jan 12: J&K Government has ordered a major reshuffle of Block Development Officers (BDOs), Look-after BDOs and equivalent officers in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (RD&PR), with immediate effect.
As per the order, Chandan Manhas, BDO Block Trigam, has been transferred and posted as BDO HQ Kishtwar while Chetan Sharma, BDO Block Jaganoo, Udhampur, has been shifted as BDO Block Udhampur.
Owais Bin Ahad, BDO Singpora, has been posted as BDO Keller in district Shopian, while Mohammad Toqeer, BDO Block Pahloo, Kulgam, has been transferred and posted as BDO Block Frisal, district Kulgam.
Shajat Farooq, BDO Block Baramulla, has been transferred and posted as Field Officer Rural Sanitation in the office of the Deputy Director Rural Sanitation, Kashmir. Amerjeet Singh, Look-after BDO Block Kangan, has been transferred and posted as Look-after BDO Block Beerwah, while Mushtaq Ahmad Najar, Look-after BDO Block Safapora, has been transferred and posted as Look-after BDO Block Sumbal in district Bandipora.
Similarly, Suresh Kumar, Look-after BDO Block Lohai Malhar, Kathua, has been transferred and posted as Look-after BDO Block Latti Marothi. Sheikh Saifullah, BDO Block Qazigund, has been posted as BDO Block Kangan in district Ganderbal and will also hold the additional charge of Block Gund till further orders.
Ajit Singh, Look-after BDO Block Bhoond, has been transferred and posted as Look-after BDO Block Jaganoo, while Roopesh Kumar Sharma, who was attached with the ACP Office, Kishtwar, has been posted as Look-after BDO Block Trigam, Kishtwar. Amir Hassan, BDO D H Pora, holding additional charge of Block D K Marg, has been transferred as BDO Block Lar with additional charge of Block Safapora in district Ganderbal.
The order further states that Mudassir Ahmad Najar, BDO Block Surasyar, and Dr Bashir Ahmad Bhat, BDO Block Banakoot, shall swap their places of posting. It has also been ordered that Iqbal Ahmad Ganie, Panchayat Inspector, Block Awantipora, will temporarily look after the work of BDO Block D.K. Marg, with additional charge of Block Pahloo, with immediate effect till a regular officer is posted.
