RAMBAN, Jan 7: Police here today arrested an absconder who was evading arrest since 2013.
Police sources informed that the absconder, Sandeep Kumar, resident of Indira Nagar, Jammu was arrested from the Narwal area of Jammu by cops from District Police Ramban headed by ASI, Ravinder Kumar Sharma.
The accused was wanted in a case of FIR No. 57/2013, registered at Police Station Ramban under sections 407, 420, 120-B RPC.
Despite sustained efforts, he remained absconding for almost 12 years. In this connection, a warrant under Section 335 BNSS (512 CrPC) was issued against him by the Court of CJM, Ramban.
