TIRUMALA, Jan 6: In a move aimed at improving convenience for devotees, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Tuesday announced the introduction of an online current booking system for SRIVANI Trust tickets on a trial basis, starting January 9.
The 800 SRIVANI Trust Break Darshan tickets, which were earlier available only at Tirumala counters, will now are offered through the online platform.
This comes in addition to the existing online quota of 500 tickets released three months in advance.
Tickets will be released online daily at 9 AM and booking will remain open until 2 PM.
Devotees must report at 4 PM for same-day darshan.
The online current booking facility will run for one month on a trial basis, after which TTD will evaluate and decide on the final SRIVANI darshan timings.
The TTD administration has urged devotees to make use of the online booking facility to avoid long waiting times.
By booking online, devotees can conveniently avail darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy on the same day. (UNI)
